Compliance Analyst (Restricted Party Screening)
Our client, an aerospace manufacturer, is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support their team in response to increased workflow demands. This role is heavily focused on screening and involves a high volume of repetitive, detail-oriented tasks.
- Location: Hawthorne, CA 90250 (Parking provided). Ideally, on-site 5 days per week; however, remote candidates based in the Pacific Time Zone will also be considered.
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: ongoing
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Pay: $35-$40/hour, depending on experience
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in sanctions compliance and risk management
- Familiarity with U.S. sanctions and export control regulations
- Experience working with screening platforms (Dow Jones Risk and Compliance, World Check)
- Experience collaborating with team members of all levels, and cross-functional partners
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset
Responsibilities:
- Adjudication of restricted party screening escalations for customer accounts
- Conduct open-source research and adverse media checks for customer accounts
- Review and respond to customer escalations to clear matches on global sanctions lists
- Support the Global Trade Compliance team on performing enhanced diligence reviews across company programs
- Work cross-functionally with company business teams to ensure compliance with sanctions screening programs
- Assist in enhancing company's end-to-end sanctions compliance program
