Beacon Hill's client, a national law firm, is seeking a contract litigation attorney for their San Jose, CA, office.
- Location: San Jose, CA 95110 (Hybrid - must be available for in-office work as needed)
- Duration: Ongoing, potentially 6+ months with the possibility of direct hire (Concurrent employment not permitted)
- Hours: 40-hour workweeks
Qualifications:
- Active California bar licensed in good standing
- 1+ year of experience in insurance defense and/or other defense-side litigation attorney experience.
Duties (including but not limited to):
- Drafting discovery, preparing expert disclosures, and covering simple depositions.
- Legal research, briefing, procedure, and advocacy.
- This position would potentially involve supporting a partner in trying cases in front of a jury, when possible.
