Location: Hybrid (office in Boston, MA)
Salary Range: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 annually
Join our Marketing team as a Marketing Data Associate, where you'll support internal recruiting teams by managing job board data, training users, and optimizing marketing tools and processes. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with managing job board setups, removals, management (including auditing user spreadsheets) and tracking
- On a monthly basis, share usage reporting with leaders of internal recruiting teams, sharing optimization strategies
- On a monthly basis and as requested, train teams on how to post jobs (posting, editing, setting up saved searches, etc.) job posting trainings on a monthly basis and as-requested. Coordinate annual trainings with each of our internal recruiting teams to ensure they're aware of best practices, and share reporting regularly with recruiting team leaders.
- Identify and develop methods of further centralizing departmental data
- Identify areas of needed development for company and departmental data - what are we missing? Are any areas consistently inaccurate? What opportunities are we losing out on?
- Assist with troubleshooting Broadbean and job board technical issues, escalating to appropriate resources
- On an annual basis, assist in compiling, interpreting, and reporting on annual job boards data for contract renewal process
- Assist in working with other Corporate departments to interpret and combine departmental datasets
- Assist in making data updates to website and other marketing materials
- Assist with companywide efforts to move interdepartmental data into one centralized location
- Assist with collecting, interpreting, and presenting data - from job boards, other vendors, external sources, and internal databases - to be published as public-facing reporting in the Data Insights section of Beacon Hill's company website
- Research, develop and propose ways Beacon Hill can use its internal data to further business goals
- Serve as back up to Marketing team members when needed
Education
BA/BS degree in Marketing, Management, Business (or similar) required, or equivalent professional experience
Experience
- At least one year of professional experience (including internships in a Marketing, Communications, or Business-related field).
- Previous experience in the staffing industry or a related field strongly desired.
Skills
- Strong statistical and data analysis skills - Demonstrated ability to collect, interpret and report on data. Experience with Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, formulas, slicers, reporting) and/or Power BI strongly desired.
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Ability to work quickly and multitask
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively, brainstorm new ideas and collaborate with a team
- Demonstrated ability to act independently and as part of a team, recognizing what issues require escalation and communicating issues appropriately
- Experience with the following tools strongly desired:
- Adobe Acrobat
- Canva
- HubSpot
- PhotoShop
Work Setting
Ideally, the successful candidate will be able to work a hybrid schedule within our Boston office. However, remote and other work arrangements will be considered.
