Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Litigation Paralegal for a long-term contract opportunity with our client in Downtown Miami, FL. This is a fully onsite position, Monday - Friday, during standard business hours.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of defense litigation experience in complex Civil Litigation cases. Essential duties include:

• Review and organize discovery.
• Research social media, public records, and other online databases.
• e-File pleadings on Pacer and with the state courts.
• Prepare subpoenas and monitor compliance with and responses to subpoenas.
• Analyze, index, organize and manage production documents, as well as prepare production logs.
• Identify key documents to assist with preparation for hearings and depositions.
• Electronic labeling of exhibits for depositions and hearings.
• Work with Judicial Assistants and opposing parties to schedule hearings.
• Proofread and redline documents for inaccuracies.
• Work with Court Reporters on logistics for attending hearings and depositions.
• Interact with experts, consultants, and witnesses.
• Gather and organize exhibits for hearings and for trial.
• Attend and assist as needed during trial.
• Prepare and manage witness and exhibits lists.
• Summarize depositions.
• Create PowerPoint and other presentations.
• Create tables of contents and of authorities.
• Format and proofread motions and briefs.
