System Engineer
We are seeking a Systems Engineer with experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to support the design, development, and integration of advanced defense systems.
Ability to obtain a Secret level clearance is required due to the nature of the work (US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret level clearance)
Requirements/Responsibilities
- Bachelors of Science degree (STEM) in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics and 5 years of exeprience or Masters with 3 years.
- The Systems Engineer will apply MBSE methodologies to define, design, and analyze complex systems using tools such as Cameo/MagicDraw, Rhapsody, or Enterprise Architect.
- Test & Integration Engineering with hardware/software validation, verification, and performance testing
- Develop and maintain system architecture models, SysML diagrams, and digital twins to support system design and verification.
- The Systems Engineer will lead or contribute to requirements definition, decomposition, and traceability across hardware, software, and integration teams.
- Experience with IBM Doors, Simulink, MATLAB, SysML/UML
- The System Engineer will support system integration and verification planning, including test strategy development and validation of system requirements.
- Ensure compliance with DoD acquisition frameworks, such as MIL-STD-881, DoDAF, or NAVAIR/NASA systems engineering processes.
- Contribute to the organization's Digital Engineering transformation initiatives, improving model reuse, configuration management, and data continuity.
- Prepare and deliver technical documentation, briefings, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
