Filling Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

The Filling Pharmacy Technician is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing prescription orders, maintaining inventory, and preparing shipments for patients. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely, high-quality service delivery and requires strong attention to detail, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and verify prescriptions at the designated filling station with accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintain proper inventory levels and ensure the filling station remains organized and stocked.

• Package and prepare prescription orders for shipment to patients in compliance with quality standards.

• Monitor order queues and meet daily fulfillment goals to ensure timely delivery.

• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly to resolve any order-related issues.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume environment.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficiency with pharmacy software systems and basic computer applications.

• Commitment to patient care, confidentiality, and quality assurance.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older; High school diploma or GED required.

• Previous experience in a pharmacy environment preferred.

• Ohio-State Registered Pharmacy Technician Trainee required, Active Registration or certification preferred

• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and perform repetitive tasks accurately.

• Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 2:00p - 10:30p EST, Friday 12:00p - 8:30p EST

• Worksite: Onsite role located in Valley View, OH

• Pay Rate: Up to $20/hr.
