Overview:
Seeking a Pharmacy Technician (Care Coordinator) to assist patients in accessing prescribed therapies. This role involves patient support, insurance coordination, and prescription management to ensure timely and accurate care.

This is a full-time, in-office position, Monday through Friday.
Pay rate: $20-$24/hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advocate for patients by securing insurance coverage and prior authorizations

• Create and maintain patient profiles and verify insurance benefits

• File claims, bill for medications and supplies, and coordinate deliveries

• Communicate with prescribers for new and refill prescriptions

• Assist with financial assistance programs and manage consent forms

• Support pharmacists with data entry and daily operations

• Complete reports and other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 2+ years of experience in pharmacy or medical insurance verification

• Current Missouri Pharmacy Technician license or active nursing license

• Familiarity with insurance terminology and billing codes (CPT, HCPCS, NDC)

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer systems

• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
