Vestibular Lab Technician (Part-Time)
Overview:
Support the diagnosis and treatment of patients with balance disorders, vertigo, and dizziness by conducting specialized vestibular testing.
Key Responsibilities:
Testing & Diagnostics:
Perform vestibular tests including VNG, ENG, rotational chair testing, posturography, caloric stimulation, and VEMPs.Equipment Operation:
Operate, calibrate, and maintain diagnostic tools to ensure accurate test results.Patient Interaction:
Prepare patients for testing, both physically and emotionally. Clearly explain procedures to ensure comfort and understanding.Data Collection:
Record and document test results. Collaborate with clinical staff to support interpretation and diagnosis.Lab Safety & Maintenance:
Maintain a clean and safe testing environment in line with infection control and safety standards.
Position Details:
Location: Waltham, MA
Schedule: Part-time (2-3 days/week, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
