You will collaborate cross-functionally across finance, actuarial, legal, and pharmacy teams and serve as a key liaison to external vendors including PBMs and drug manufacturers. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in PBM economics, contract strategy, and supply chain management, with experience at a leading PBM or healthcare consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategy and execution of pharmacy rebates, network discounts, and PBM operations.

  • Manage PBM and supply chain contracts, vendor relationships, and rebate performance.

  • Oversee rebate forecasting, contract compliance, and financial reconciliation processes.

  • Translate rebate economics into strategic insights for senior leadership.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, IT, Legal, PMO, Pharmacy) to ensure operational alignment.

  • Develop and present cost-saving strategies tied to formulary design and drug pricing models.

  • Guide the long-term roadmap to reduce dependency on external PBMs.

Qualifications Required:

  • 8+ years of experience in pharmacy supply chain, PBM contracting, rebate strategy, or pharmacy economics.

  • 3+ years in a leadership or management role.

  • Strong knowledge of rebate modeling, financial forecasting, and vendor negotiation.

  • Direct experience working at or with PBMs, drug manufacturers, or healthcare consultancies.

  • Deep understanding of commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid pharmacy operations.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.

Preferred:

  • MBA or other graduate-level business degree.

  • Experience in specialty pharmacy and retail/mail channel mapping.

  • Exposure to actuarial or statistical modeling.

Why Join Us?

  • Influence long-term pharmacy strategy at a leading health organization

  • Opportunity to build and lead a high-impact, cost-saving function

  • Executive visibility and cross-functional leadership role
