Program Manager - Permanent Supportive Housing
Location: Austin, Texas

Overview:
The Program Manager oversees a site-based Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) program serving approximately 50 residents living with persistent mental illness, chronic health conditions, substance use disorders, and a history of homelessness. This role provides leadership and coordination to ensure delivery of trauma-informed, housing-first, and client-centered services that promote stability, recovery, and quality of life.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related human services field.

  • Current Texas licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LPC-Associate, LMFT, or equivalent).

  • Minimum three years of supervisory or management experience in human services.

  • Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health disorders, and/or substance use.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client data systems (HMIS experience preferred).

  • Strong leadership, communication, and budget management skills.

Job Duties:

  • Oversee daily operations of the supportive housing program, ensuring quality service delivery and compliance with funding requirements.

  • Supervise and support a multidisciplinary team, fostering professional development and accountability.

  • Manage program budgets, reporting, and data tracking in alignment with organizational and funder standards.

  • Coordinate services with internal departments and community partners to ensure integrated care.

  • Lead implementation of evidence-based, trauma-informed, and housing-first practices.

  • Represent the program in community partnerships and collaborative initiatives.

  • Participate in organizational leadership activities and contribute to ongoing program development.

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday schedule with flexible start times.
