Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

We are a mission‑driven behavioral health organization dedicated to delivering integrated, person‑centered care. We're seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our multidisciplinary clinical team and provide high‑quality psychiatric and addiction‑focused services. This hybrid role includes 2 days remote and 3 days on-site each week.

Requirements:

  • ANCC‑certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) licensed in Massachusetts with 2+ years of experience
  • Master's Degree in Nursing and active Massachusetts NP license
  • Valid DEA registration with Schedule III authority
  • Experience treating individuals with mental health, substance use, dual diagnosis, and co‑occurring disorders

Job Description:

  • Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment for individuals with mental health, substance use, and co‑occurring conditions
  • Conduct mental status exams, addiction assessments, medical screenings, medication reviews, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning
  • Prescribe and monitor psychiatric and addiction‑related medications under the supervision of the Medical Director
  • Provide psychopharmacology and addiction medicine services using a flexible, "no four walls" approach when clinically indicated
  • Serve as a key member of the team, ensuring timely access to stabilization services, medication support, and crisis intervention when needed
  • Collaborate closely with integrated care teams and external providers to ensure coordinated, person‑centered treatment
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews, offering consultation and training to clinical staff
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and billing in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards
