Overview

Seeking a Senior Business Analyst with strong product mindset, insurance/claims domain knowledge, and hands-on data analysis expertise. This role supports a major claims platform modernization, working closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless systems integration, accurate data migration, and clear requirements delivery.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst (with 2+ in senior/lead roles).
  • Proven track record on large-scale system transformation or modernization initiatives.
  • Strong experience in data analysis, data mapping, and data validation.
  • Familiarity with claims/insurance or retail domain (claims processing highly preferred).
  • Proficiency with SDLC practices, Agile methodologies, and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SQL, and Visio.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cloud platforms or enterprise system migrations.
  • Exposure to UX collaboration and ability to create simple wireframes/flows.
  • Knowledge of insurance/claims platforms or financial services systems.
  • Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile credentials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as liaison between product, business, and engineering teams to capture and document requirements.
  • Lead analysis of current claims systems, define functional/non-functional requirements, and identify process gaps.
  • Perform detailed data analysis, mapping, and validation to support integrations and migrations.
  • Create and maintain artifacts such as user stories, process flows, and data dictionaries.
  • Partner with QA to ensure requirements traceability and data accuracy in testing/UAT.
  • Support change management and end-user readiness through documentation and training.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews).
