Sr. Business Systems Analyst / MicroStrategy / (BI)
Overview
Seeking a sharp, articulate Sr. BA/Product Owner with exceptional communication skills and a collaborative, detail-driven approach. This role supports BI products tied to production and post-production finance, working closely with stakeholders and development teams to deliver accurate reporting and executive-level insights.
Must Haves
- MicroStrategy (cloud/MCE preferred)
- Business Intelligence experience (dashboards, reporting, data workflows)
- SQL/database knowledge and ability to work with querying languages
- Outstanding communication skills across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience preparing data for visualizations and supporting BI reporting tools
- Ability to manage multiple application types (vendor tools, financial systems, workflows, POCs)
Preferred
- Studio/production lifecycle knowledge
- Financial analytics or dashboard experience
- Familiarity with PowerBI/Tableau or other BI tools
- Agile Product Owner certification
Key Responsibilities
- Gather requirements and design dashboards/visualizations in MicroStrategy.
- Train users, run demos, and support iterative updates.
- Partner with developers on complex reporting needs and data modeling.
- Define and groom Jira user stories; manage enhancements and reporting requests.
- Support BI Architect and oversee vendor reporting software.
- Maintain application administration (access audits, cloud instance updates).
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and contribute to product vision and roadmap.
