Job Title: Principal Data Scientist - Onsite in Glendale, CA
Education:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
- Preferred: Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics or related discipline
Must-Have Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Data Science with a proven track record of delivering impactful projects
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, or Scala
- Expertise in machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, numpy, and pandas
- Deep understanding of machine learning models, algorithms, statistical methods, and mathematics
- Experience developing end-to-end ML solutions from data ingestion to model deployment
- Ability to identify patterns, build predictive models, and extract actionable insights from large datasets
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery
- Prior experience mentoring junior data scientists or engineers
- Familiarity with AI and advanced analytics use cases in media or content-focused environments
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy machine learning models and advanced analytics solutions
- Architect scalable data models and production-grade ML pipelines in partnership with engineering teams
- Analyze complex data sets to surface trends and support strategic decisions
- Stay up to date on emerging AI/ML technologies and propose innovative applications
- Monitor and maintain performance of deployed models, ensuring accuracy and relevance
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to peers and cross-functional collaborators
