Position: Project Manager (Mobile / Scrum)
Overview
Seeking a hands-on Project Manager with strong Scrum experience to lead mobile development initiatives. This role requires expertise in managing iOS/Android applications, connected device platforms (Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV), and large Agile teams. Candidates should be comfortable engaging in technical discussions while driving delivery across multiple projects.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of program/project management in technical environments.
- 3+ years leading Scrum/Agile teams with proven ability to run ceremonies and coach teams.
- Mobile project experience (iOS, Android); connected devices experience highly transferable.
- Strong technical acumen: able to follow architecture discussions and translate requirements into action.
- Expertise with Jira/Confluence; Airtable strongly preferred; Smartsheet/Asana/Monday.com a plus.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills across technical and non-technical groups.
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred
- Experience in media, entertainment, or sports technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mobile and connected device projects end-to-end, managing 2-3 initiatives at a time.
- Run Scrum teams (60-70% of role), facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to define scope, requirements, deliverables, timelines, and risks.
- Track dependencies, blockers, and provide mitigation plans for on-time delivery.
- Drive collaboration with onshore and offshore teams (including Colombia).
- Ensure successful feature launches through coordination, testing support, and stakeholder reporting.
- Manage vendor deliverables, resource allocation tracking, and cross-team communications.
