QA Analyst (Manual & Automation Testing - Playwright)
Overview:
Seeking a skilled QA Analyst with a balanced background in manual and automated testing to ensure the quality, stability, and performance of web-based applications and backend services. The ideal professional is proficient in Playwright automation, test design, and end-to-end validation within an Agile environment. This role requires strong analytical thinking, collaboration, and a passion for quality across the entire SDLC.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of QA experience with a 50/50 split between manual and automation testing.
- Hands-on expertise in Playwright for UI and functional automation.
- Proven ability to design, execute, and document manual test cases, test plans, and automated scripts.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar QA and defect management tools.
- Strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and system testing for web applications.
- Familiarity with Windows environments and backend service testing.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and iterative release cycles.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases to validate application functionality and performance.
- Design and implement Playwright automation scripts for regression and smoke testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure feature completeness and quality.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing across multiple releases.
- Log defects, track issues, and verify fixes using Azure DevOps or equivalent tools.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and test coverage.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and provide clear test reporting to project teams.
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with JMeter, API testing, or performance testing tools.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
