SDET Engineer-Onsite in Mesa, Arizona

Overview

Seeking an automation-focused SDET to design, build, and maintain robust test frameworks for web-based applications. This role emphasizes automated functional testing, CI/CD integration, and close collaboration with engineering teams in an Agile environment. The ideal profile leans heavily toward automation over manual testing and has strong hands-on experience with modern QA tooling.

Required Technical Skills (Priority Order)

• Automation Frameworks: Selenium WebDriver or Playwright
• Programming Language: C# or Java
• CI/CD & DevOps: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub
• API Testing: Postman
• Platforms: Windows desktop, server, and web environments
• Databases: Strong understanding of SQL / PL-SQL and relational database concepts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5-7 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a strong focus on web-based applications
• Demonstrated experience where automation is the primary focus of QA work
• 5+ years designing and executing test cases and test plans
• 3+ years of hands-on UI and API automation using Selenium (C# or Java)
• Proven experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
• Strong understanding of software development processes and testing methodologies
• Experience with version control systems and defect tracking tools
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain testing strategy, results, and risks clearly.
