Technical Project Manager

Overview:
Seeking a highly organized Technical Project Manager to support multiple post-production engineering teams across operational and innovation initiatives. This role requires strong project management expertise, exceptional Jira skills, and the ability to coordinate and report on a high volume of concurrent projects within a fast-paced technical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations and project workflows for multiple post-production teams using Jira (Kanban and Scrum boards).
  • Prioritize and track requests from production teams, ensuring efficient execution and issue resolution.
  • Partner with engineering teams supporting large file transfers, image/color pipelines, and time-based workflow innovation projects.
  • Structure long-term projects, facilitate sprint planning, and provide clear visibility into progress and risks.
  • Generate and present data-driven reports from Jira and Power BI to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Adapt project management approach across Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies as needed.
  • Communicate effectively across teams and functions, ensuring alignment and accountability.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Expert-level Jira experience - sprint management, Kanban boards, and detailed reporting.
  • Strong reporting and data visualization skills (Jira dashboards, Power BI).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and operational workstreams.
  • Proficiency with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable interfacing with engineers and cross-functional partners.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have):

  • Background in production, post-production, or studio operations.
  • Experience supporting technical teams within a creative or media environment.
