Technical Project Manager
Overview:
Seeking a highly organized and data-driven Technical Project Manager to support fast-paced production initiatives. This role will partner closely with senior production managers and technical teams to drive issue resolution, streamline workflows, and ensure operational excellence across production-facing environments. The ideal professional thrives in dynamic settings, manages multiple priorities under pressure, and excels at cross-functional communication and reporting.
Must-Have Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in technical or production project management using waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver results in fast-moving environments.
- Strong experience with reporting tools-able to build and present progress reports, show trackers, and data dashboards.
- Proficiency in Smartsheet and Jira (must have expertise in at least one).
- Strong background in risk management, issue resolution, and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level reporting.
- Ability to analyze team performance data and identify opportunities to improve processes.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in production, media, or entertainment environments.
- Familiarity with LucidChart, Miro, and PowerBI for visualization and reporting.
- Certifications such as PMP or CSM.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical teams (e.g., engineering, infrastructure, product).
Key Responsibilities:
- Support production operations by tracking deliverables, risks, and dependencies across multiple workstreams.
- Lead data-driven reporting efforts, maintaining dashboards and trackers to monitor progress and performance.
- Partner with senior production management to coordinate resources, resolve issues, and manage operational priorities.
- Identify and mitigate risks while ensuring transparency and timely communication across teams.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, workflows, and roadmaps using Smartsheet, Jira, or similar tools.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance team throughput and project delivery efficiency.
