Role Summary
This role supports the buildout and maintenance of a critical digital media infrastructure platform. You'll be responsible for developing scalable infrastructure solutions, building automation pipelines, and ensuring 24/7 uptime of cloud-based applications that handle metadata tagging, watermarking, subtitles, and content delivery.
Must-Have Skills
- 7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Proficient in Python programming
- Strong experience with AWS, especially CloudFormation
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline development and API integration
- Solid understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Experience with containerized environments and Linux
- Familiar with tools such as Terraform, Jenkins/GitLab, and monitoring platforms
Key Responsibilities
- Build scalable infrastructure solutions using Python and AWS
- Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development and best practices
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to support global availability of key applications
- Review and optimize existing infrastructure for performance and reliability
- Troubleshoot issues across distributed systems
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing
