Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
Seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join a centralized SRE team supporting a diverse portfolio of high-visibility applications and services. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative, supportive, and fun environment with a strong commitment to operational excellence, learning, and team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable cloud infrastructure (primary: AWS) supporting both internal and guest-facing applications
- Manage environments including development, QA/test, and production
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Ensure availability, reliability, and performance across all layers: networking, compute, storage, databases
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Utilize containerization technologies (Docker) for consistent and efficient deployments
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, participate in operational reviews, and drive continuous improvement in system reliability and automation
Must-Have Qualifications
- Experience: 5-7+ years in an enterprise SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering role
- Cloud Expertise: Advanced AWS experience (services, architecture, automation)
- OS: Strong Linux skills (approx. 80% Linux, 20% Windows exposure)
- Infrastructure as Code: Hands-on, current experience with Terraform
- Version Control/CI-CD: Proficient with GitHub or GitLab for source control and integrating with CI/CD pipelines
- Containerization: Solid experience with Docker
- Collaboration: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across technical and non-technical teams
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Exposure to Azure and Google Cloud platforms
- Familiarity with additional CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
