Technical Program Manager / Scrum Lead - Video & Streaming Platforms

Role Overview

Seeking a hands-on Technical Program Manager with strong Scrum leadership experience to support interactive video experiences across living room and streaming platforms. This role partners closely with engineering and product teams delivering dynamic, sports-driven features across connected TV and mobile video applications.

This position is Scrum Lead-heavy (60-70%), with Program Management responsibilities (30-40%).

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technical project or program management experience working directly with engineering teams
  • 5+ years of hands-on Agile/Scrum experience, acting as a Scrum Lead
  • Background working in a media or streaming technology environment
  • Proven ability to drive delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives without direct authority
  • Expertise with Jira and Confluence
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level status reporting
  • Ability to identify risks early, manage dependencies, and drive mitigation plans

Nice-to-Have

  • Sports or sports media experience
  • Experience supporting interactive or data-driven video experiences
  • Familiarity with backend systems, personalization, or ML-driven platforms
  • Scrum certification (CSM or CSP)

Responsibilities

  • Lead Agile delivery and Scrum ceremonies for a cross-functional engineering team
  • Own execution plans, timelines, dependencies, and delivery forecasting
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and QA to align roadmaps and priorities
  • Drive clear communication, status reporting, and stakeholder alignment
  • Continuously evaluate and improve delivery processes
