Visual Designer - UI/UX Focus
Seeking a highly skilled Visual Designer to create compelling digital designs that transform complex information into clear, engaging visual stories. This role focuses on presentation design, infographics, and UI/UX-driven visual solutions rather than marketing campaigns or social shareables.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Strong background in digital visual design with experience distilling complex or technical content into clear, scannable, and strategic visuals.
- Expertise in Figma for collaboration with UX teams.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop required).
- Ability to explain the design process, including research, ideation, iteration, and final deliverables.
- Portfolio showcasing presentation design, dashboards, infographics, or enterprise tool visualization.
- Strong communication skills to articulate design decisions and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Degree in Design, Visual Arts, or related field (BA/BFA preferred)
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Exposure to enterprise/internal tool design with the ability to bring creativity and polish to corporate or data-heavy projects.
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles and ability to collaborate with UX designers during early project phases.
- Experience working with large, well-known consumer or enterprise brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Design visually compelling presentations, dashboards, infographics, and digital assets with a focus on clarity and storytelling.
- Partner with UX designers and stakeholders to understand goals, distill requirements, and translate them into intentional design solutions.
- Contribute to research and discovery phases to ensure visuals support strategic objectives.
- Present and explain design rationale, process, and iterations to stakeholders.
- Maintain consistency, quality, and attention to detail across deliverables.
