Beacon Hill Legal's client, a national law firm located in Midtown, Manhattan, is seeking a Trademark Paralegal for a temporary-to-hire coverage. Candidates must have 6+ years of experience managing domestic and intellectual property portfolios and possess proficiency with USPTO filings.

Candidates must be comfortable commuting to the firm's office four times a week and hybrid one. Pay rate is dependent on experience and starts at $40/hr.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of domestic and international trademark portfolios which include drafting and filing applications, Statements of Use, and maintenance/renewal documents.
• Conduct and analyze preliminary "knock-out" searches using SAEGIS or Corsearch.
• Assist in Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) proceedings by gathering evidence of use, drafting notices of opposition, and managing discovery timelines.
• Maintain and optimize complex docketing systems CPI to ensure zero missed deadlines

Requirements

• 6+ years of dedicated trademark prosecution experience in a law firm.
• Ability to commute to the office four times a week
• Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA approved program; NALA CP/ACP or NFPA credentials preferred.
• Mastery of USPTO TEAS and familiarity with WIPO Madrid Protocol filings.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and IP management software (CPI or equivalent); Corsearch/SAEGIS.
• Familiarity with copyright registrations and domain name disputes (UDRP).
