Beacon Hill Legal's client, a national law firm located in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking a Capital Markets attorney for a contract coverage expected to last through the end of the year. The role is hybrid with the firm looking for someone comfortable commuting to the office three times a week. The attorney in this role will be responsible for handling IPOs, as well as manage the underwriting process in securities offerings. Pay rate is dependent upon experience but starts at $65 per hour.
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of capital markets experience
- Transactional experience in IPOs
- Solid understanding of securities laws (Securities Act, Exchange Act), listing rules, and compliance frameworks
- Experience preparing SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K S-1, S-3, proxy statements) and governance documentation
- Strong drafting ability and analytical skills; able to manage fast-paced, deadline-driven work
Requirements:
- JD from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
- Admitted and in good standing with a US Bar Jurisdiction
- Ability to commute to Midtown Manhattan three times a week
