Role Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Salesforce Staff Engineer/ Tech Lead to provide hands-on leadership across our Salesforce platform. This individual will guide design, architecture, and technical delivery in support of enterprise initiatives, working closely with business and engineering teams to build scalable, reliable, and secure Salesforce solutions. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for long-term impact within a mission-driven, values-based financial services organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and development across Salesforce projects and integrations
- Guide best practices in architecture, data modeling, and performance optimization
- Work with product group, technical leadership and team to ensure high-quality, testable, and maintainable code
- Participate in Salesforce release planning and code reviews
- Ensure CI/CD practices are followed and support the team in adopting automation wherever possible
- Support the team's growth through mentorship and technical guidance
Required Experience (MUST HAVE)
- 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience (Apex, Lightning Components, SOQL, etc.)
- Strong integration experience (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, event-driven architecture)
- Familiarity with DevOps tooling for Salesforce (Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, or similar)
- Exposure to or understanding of test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Provar, Apex testing)
- Solid knowledge of Salesforce best practices, governor limits, and data management
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Certifications
- Experience in financial services or other regulated industries
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience
- Familiarity with enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines and deployment governance
