Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on building and optimizing data solutions within a modern enterprise data platform. This role involves designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, transforming structured data, and enabling analytics and reporting capabilities. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who thrives in collaborative environments and can work independently when needed.

Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement end-to-end data engineering solutions for real-time and batch processing in Databricks.
* Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL, DBT, and Python.
* Ingest and curate data from multiple sources, including website analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Data Manager).
* Organize curated data layers to support analytics and reporting needs.
* Create and maintain Power BI reports based on curated data models.
* Troubleshoot and optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.
* Collaborate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and contribute to technical discussions and best practices.

Must-Have Skills
* 5-10+ years of experience in data engineering with large-scale data solutions.
* Strong expertise in SQL and DBT for data transformation.
* Hands-on experience with Databricks for data processing and optimization.
* Proficiency in Python and PySpark for data manipulation.
* Familiarity with Power BI for reporting and visualization.
* Experience with relational databases (e.g., DB2) and structured data sources.
* Ability to work independently and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Nice-to-Have Skills
* Exposure to AI/ML workflows within Databricks.
* Experience in financial services or similar regulated environments.
* Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative team environments.
