As Senior Account Executive, you are an experienced member of one of our contract or temporary staffing business development teams, responsible for mentoring Account Executives and providing counsel and thought leadership to management; in addition to day-to-day responsibilities including identifying and researching client companies, building long-term partnerships with companies by visiting work sites, delivering sales presentations, and gaining an understanding of staffing requirements, and working with a team of recruiters to develop and refer appropriate candidates for open positions. To be considered, must have prior staffing industry experience, within proven success, in business development and account management.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Research the market for new or expanded employer client opportunities and identify and pursue target companies.
  • Manage and maintain employer and candidate contacts and activities using our proprietary database.
  • Deliver polished and effective presentations in person to employers with advice and recommendations for new or expanded engagements, for improvements in hiring and employment, or for the suitability of candidates.
  • Visit client employers on a regular basis and interact with hiring managers and other key personnel and observe and assess clients' work environment and cultures to maintain current understanding of both the content and context of clients' hiring needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all hiring managers and other key personnel at client employers.
  • Work collaboratively with Staffing Consultants to evaluate and identify the best available candidates for pending engagements.
  • Maintain consistent contact with employers and contractors on assignment to ensure employer satisfaction with contractor transition and performance and to assess and address any concerns.
  • Coordinate with Staffing Consultants on all steps of the hiring and employment process for candidates, including documentation such as employment agreements, new hire paperwork, proper identification, and relevant certifications.
  • Research and stay abreast of current and emerging market trends and hiring practices, terms and conditions within your areas of responsibility, including bill rates for temporary assignments, pay rates for contractors on assignment, conversion fees for transferring contractors to full-time employees of client employers, and other terms and conditions related to temporary staffing.
  • Work with Staffing Consultants on background checks to evaluate suitability of employment, education, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Self-motivation demonstrated by work experience in high school, college and since graduation.
  • Ability to work independently and without supervision but also interact cooperatively with others as part of team.
  • Effective time management and analytical skills that allow you to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, client-driven, very competitive environment requiring the exercise of discretion and independent judgment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions quickly and effectively.
  • Proven ability to receive and evaluate constructive criticism and coaching and to translate that into demonstrable performance improvements.
  • Ability to handle confidential and delicate information of employers and candidates with the utmost discretion.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred
