About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to support accounts receivable operations within a manufacturing environment. This role will focus on high-volume billing, cash application, deductions management, and collections while partnering closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance to support accurate revenue reporting and strong cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, cash application, collections, and customer account maintenance
  • Research and resolve deductions, chargebacks, short pays, and pricing discrepancies common in manufacturing environments
  • Reconcile customer accounts and analyze aging reports to drive timely collections and reduce past-due balances
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including reconciliations and audit support
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to resolve billing issues related to pricing, promotions, returns, and freight
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with internal controls and company policies

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of accounts receivable experience, preferably within manufacturing or adjacent industries
  • Strong understanding of high-volume billing, deductions, and collections processes
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Proficiency in Excel for reconciliation and reporting
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective communication skills for working with internal teams and customers
