We're working on a search for a midsized construction company looking to hire their next controller. Our client has grown exponentially over the past few years from $3M 5 years ago to now over $50M. Their pipeline is strong and they need an experienced controller to come in and manage the accounting group.
Responsibilities:
Supervise the month-end, quarterly, and annual accounting close process, including General Ledger, Job Costing, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, Billing, Collections, and Weekly Payroll.
Oversees the preparation of financial statements and filings for senior management and external stakeholders.
Managing internal accounting staff of 4
Analysis of WIP reporting- cash flow statements, profitability, etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 10+ years of experience
GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred
Prior Construction experience strongly preferred
