Job Summary
Will design, develop, and implement robust and scalable solutions to optimize workflows and automate business processes using Java engineering, cloud technologies (AWS), and BPM tools like Camunda. Develop high-performance Java applications, leveraging Java 8/11 features like Lambda expressions and Stream API, and adhering to best practices for code quality and performance optimization. Integrating backend services with front-end applications and external systems using RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and Angular for responsive UI components. Implement state management patterns, RxJS for asynchronous operations, and integrate external APIs seamlessly into Angular applications. Design and execute automated API tests, contract testing, and integration testing to validate functionality, performance, and compatibility of RESTful APIs and microservices. Utilize Camunda BPM for process modeling, integrating with existing systems, implementing business rules, event-driven BPM workflows, and leveraging Camunda's process modeling capabilities to design, model, and visualize BPMN workflows. Integrate Camunda BPM with databases and external services using APIs, connectors, and service tasks to enable seamless data exchange and communication between different systems. Implement robust deployment strategies on AWS, utilizing services like EC2, RDS, ELB, and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform for scalability, high availability, and automation. Lead collaborative sprint planning sessions, prioritize user stories, and emphasize iterative improvement through retrospective feedback. Implement a structured mentorship program for junior developers, focusing on enhancing their skills and expertise in BPM and related technologies, through regular training, knowledge sharing, and skill development plans. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver software solutions that meet business objectives and user needs. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to industry standards in backend development, focusing on optimizing performance and enhancing code quality. Position requires up to 100% domestic travel.
