Will review the Application Design Documents and Data Model provided by Arch and the development team on SVN to make sure there’s no gap in requirements. Create detailed and well structured test plans, test scenarios, and test cases including multi-release and rollback scenarios using ARD modeling or UFT tool. Perform Review of Test deliverables with stakeholders to finalize these for Test Execution. Perform Integration, Functional, Ad hoc, Regression, End to End, and Multi Release testing manually or using UFT tool. Identifying/logging defects with detailed test data/logs/snapshots and tracking these in defect management tool Rally and coordinating with the development team to get high-priority defects fixed timely to drive smooth testing cycle. Perform validation of Restful Webservice API’s using Soap UI and Postman. Perform validation of batch jobs (Load/Update/Extract jobs) using CONTROL-M. Validate database using SQL queries in PL/SQL and HeidiSQL to ensure data quality and integrity. Monitoring the backend logs using tools like support link, Quick build, Splunk, and WinSCP to identify exceptions. Perform detailed multi-release testing to ensure smooth system functioning in multi-release environment and its smooth transition to full roll out. Participate in daily stand-up/scrum calls, providing status updates on testing progress, and proactively highlight potential risks. Perform root cause analysis of post-production defects and identify learnings from these to develop best practices to be implemented in future releases. Position requires up to 100% domestic travel.
