**This is an onsite position - 5 days a week**
Our client in the Independence, Ohio area is looking for a Network Infrastructure / Security Project Manager. This is a 10-month contract with the potential to extend or possibly be hired on full-time with our client.
This position will help with the successful network integration of recently acquired company.
Responsibilities:
Planning and executing network infrastructure and security projects of various sizes and complexities.
Utilizing project management best practices and thorough understanding of the project lifecycle to maintain the stability of the project and change control, as needed.
Monitoring project status and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments and resource allocations to ensure optimal project performance.
Assembling the project plans and work assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts, and escalating issues appropriately.
Identifying and communicating key information to drive the decision-making process and support IT and business operations.
Summarizing variance between plan and actual progress against key project milestones and adjusting plans and/or resources to meet the needs of the business.
Developing and delivering reports to key stakeholders summarizing objectives, deliverables, status, and metrics.
Acting as a liaison between stakeholders and the project team(s) by building effective relationships.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of relative experience in an IT Project Management role.
Relative certifications are preferred (PMP) but not required.
Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices, and change management techniques.
Proficient utilizing project management software (Smartsheets a plus) and Microsoft 365 applications.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills to balance issue and risk management, cost management, and scope/schedule management on a single large project and/or multiple projects of varying sizes.
Ability to translate technical information into understandable terms to a variety of audiences.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills providing the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including business leaders, cross-functional teams, and vendors.
