Our client in Lansdale is seeking a Staff Accountant on a temp to perm basis:

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation.

• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including journal entries and financial reporting.

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely posting.

• Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial records.

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities by gathering data and preparing reports.

• Maintain organized financial files and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.

• Assist with audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries.

• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and provide financial information as needed.

• Perform additional accounting duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

• 1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.

• Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).

• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time‑management skills.

• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
