Our client in Philadelphia is seeking a Payroll Specliast on a temp to perm basis
Process biweekly or monthly payroll for all employees, including salaried, hourly, and contract staff
Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations regarding wages, taxes, and deductions
Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management and finance teams
Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and timekeeping
Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to ensure accurate benefit and tax reporting
Reconcile payroll accounts and assist with year-end reporting (W-2s, 1099s)
Support audits by providing payroll documentation and reports
