Location: Remote EST hours

Salary: 100-110K

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and refine business and functional requirements.

  • Translate business needs into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to support agile sprint grooming and planning sessions.

  • Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by creating test plans, tracking defects, and validating fixes against requirements.

  • Perform SQL queries to extract, analyze, and validate data for reporting, testing, and root cause analysis.

  • Investigate system or process issues, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions or enhancements.

  • Work closely with developers, QA testers, and product owners to ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations.

  • Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of the Agile development lifecycle.

  • Maintain documentation, process flows, and data dictionaries to support business processes and technology solutions.

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.

  • Strong skills in requirements elicitation, story grooming, and writing clear, actionable user stories.

  • Hands-on experience with UAT coordination, including test planning and defect tracking.

  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and validating data.

  • Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis on systems, data, and process issues.

  • Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.

  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid Agile environments.
