Location: Philadelphia - Hybrid 2 days on site per week

Rate: 55-65/hr
As a UX Researcher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product development by conducting user-centered research and driving data-informed decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create research strategies, execute research studies, and help steer product design and strategy based on solid insights.
Responsibilities:
Research Strategy Development:
Collaborate with design and product leadership to develop comprehensive research strategies.
Work alongside the ResearchOps team to proactively plan and organize participant recruitment for studies.
Choose the right research methods to address specific goals and project scopes.
Provide guidance to designers in research methodology as needed.
Lead & Conduct Research:
Guide and implement evidence-based research strategies, representing UX Research in cross-functional teams.
Lead user-centered research initiatives, inspiring the team to drive continuous product improvements and innovations.
Set an iterative pace for research, conducting studies each sprint cycle to ensure ongoing insights.
Leverage data to challenge assumptions, assess risks, and drive informed decisions.
Customer-Centric Focus:
Collect and evaluate user needs, developing a deep understanding of customer use cases.
Analyze market segments and competitor offerings in collaboration with partner teams.
Work with product and design teams to integrate user insights into product strategies.
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of experience in UX research.
Strong knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research methods, such as JTBD, usability testing, concept testing, and data mining.
Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
Experience presenting research findings to executive-level stakeholders and influencing business strategy.
A portfolio showcasing case studies demonstrating your impact on web applications, AI, APIs, or similar areas.
Basic understanding of technical feasibility and constraints.
Experience working in an agile environment, with familiarity in tools such as Jira.
Ability to conduct end-to-end research studies at an agile pace, delivering insights within 2-3 weeks.
Well-versed in discovery-oriented research methods like contextual inquiry, secondary research, and Jobs-to-be-Done.
Ability to rapidly synthesize both qualitative and quantitative data to generate actionable insights.
