Our client in King of Prussia, PA is seeking a Data Warehouse BSA for a contract to hire. This role will require 2-3 days a week onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements for reporting and analytics.
- Develop and maintain target mapping documents to define source-to-target data transformations.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for ETL and data warehouse development.
- Support ETL development teams by providing clear mapping rules, validation scenarios, and edge case handling.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution across data sources and the warehouse.
- Write and execute SQL queries to analyze data and validate ETL results.
- Assist in the design of logical and physical data models for the data warehouse.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in data warehouse or BI projects.
- Solid understanding of ETL processes and data integration tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS).
- Proficient in SQL for querying, profiling, and validating data.
- Experience in creating source-to-target mapping (STM) or mapping specifications.
- Knowledge of dimensional modeling and data warehouse concepts (e.g., facts, dimensions, star/snowflake schema).
