Our client in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking a Senior Middleware Engineer for a contract to hire role. This role will require 2-3 days a week onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and maintain IBM MQ and IBM DataPower environments.
- Provide leadership and hands-on support during high-impact triage calls to resolve integration and infrastructure issues.
- Monitor system performance and implement tuning measures to ensure optimal operation.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to support middleware solutions.
- Automate routine administrative tasks and support CI/CD integration as needed.
- Ensure all middleware services are compliant with organizational standards and security protocols.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in middleware administration, with IBM MQ and IBM DataPower experience.
- Experience and proficiency working in Linux-based environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead triage and incident response efforts, especially involving complex integration and communication issues.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
