Must Haves:
- BGP routing experience as well as solid Cisco switch experience both nexus and catalyst
- Basic Nexus switching knowledge (must have recent experience with this)
- Cisco CCNP should be the minimum certification level (active or expired)
Nice to Have:
- Cisco/Fortinet Firewall experience
- Cisco Wireless and Juniper Mist Wireless experience
- Juniper Router configuration experience
Day to Day:
The Network Engineer leads the design, implementation, and support of LAN/WAN, firewall/IPS, and enterprise wireless solutions. This role requires deep expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), VLANs, high-availability architectures, VoIP, QoS, and cloud/data center infrastructure, particularly Microsoft Azure. Proficiency across multiple vendor platforms is essential, including Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and VMware SD-WAN.
