The Accounting Specialist is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial recordkeeping, and assisting with reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. This position plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial data and assisting with other administrative office tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and record daily financial transactions, including vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and customer payments

• Perform accounts payable and receivable functions, data entry, and payment processing

• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts monthly

• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records, files, and documentation

• Provide administrative support to the accounting department and cross-functional teams as needed

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

• 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping

• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks)

• Strong knowledge MS Office applications

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to handle sensitive financial information confidentially

• Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
