Location: Mostly remote - on site required when needed. Must be able to commute.
Duration: expected to be long term multi year contract
Our client is seeking a QA Manual Tester to join their team and ensure the quality and reliability of a next-generation e-commerce website. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience testing web applications, with a strong understanding of e-commerce workflows and user journeys.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications
Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing
Validate e-commerce features such as product catalog, shopping cart, checkout, payment processing, and order management
Identify, document, and track bugs using defect management tools
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to clarify requirements and resolve issues
Ensure testing covers cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
Provide clear reporting on test progress, risks, and results
Requirements:
2-4 years of manual testing experience (web or mobile applications)
Prior experience testing e-commerce websites or platforms strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices
Experience writing and executing detailed test cases and documenting defects
Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar
Understanding of Agile/Scrum environments
