We are seeking an experienced PACS Administrator to manage, maintain, and support our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) with a focus on GE PACS Workflow Manager. This role ensures optimal system performance, seamless integration with clinical systems, and reliable access to imaging data for physicians, radiologists, and healthcare staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, configure, and monitor the PACS environment, with emphasis on GE PACS Workflow Manager.

  • Provide daily operational support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of PACS, RIS, and related imaging systems.

  • Collaborate with Radiology, IT, and clinical teams to resolve workflow issues and improve system efficiency.

  • Manage system upgrades, patches, and integrations with other healthcare IT systems (e.g., EMR/EHR, modality devices).

  • Maintain user accounts, security settings, and system access in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.

  • Develop and deliver user training, documentation, and support for clinicians and staff.

  • Monitor storage, archiving, and retrieval of medical images to ensure high system availability and performance.

  • Partner with vendors, including GE Healthcare, for advanced troubleshooting and system optimization.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as a PACS Administrator, preferably with GE PACS Workflow Manager.

  • Strong understanding of DICOM, HL7, IHE standards, and medical imaging workflows.

  • Experience with modality integration (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray, etc.) and radiology workflows.

  • Familiarity with healthcare IT systems (EHR/EMR, RIS, VNA, storage solutions).

  • Knowledge of HIPAA, data security, and compliance standards in healthcare IT.
