Position Description:
- Craft the overall advanced Application Architecture, ensuring its alignment with business needs and current systems/technologies for e-commerce platform
- Take charge of this project from high level expertise, assertiveness and poise and professionalism with executive team.
- Leverage APIs, EDI, some AI, and other full stack technologies
- Work closely with the business and IT teams amidst an ERP implementation launch
- Determine the types of information required to address key challenges and support insight-based decision-making.
- Although this isn't a primarily hands-on coding role, the individual will need to provide meaningful input and direction to analytics and engineering teams.
- Develops comprehensive system approaches that meet defined project objectives.
- Ensure that technical initiatives support broader organizational priorities and adhere to enterprise-level architectural principles.
- Work hand-in-hand with product and engineering teams to ensure successful delivery of technical solutions.
- Reviews project limitations and resource constraints to propose alternative approaches, reduce potential issues, and optimize workflows.
- Serve as the bridge between business leaders and technical professionals to ensure shared understanding and clarity across functions.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years B2B large enterprise experience in the eCommerce space as a high-level Architect, delivering multiple projects confidently.
- Executive-facing experience
- Ability to work your way around the coding side at about 50% of the time. Started in a development track.
- Recent hands-on Development experience is a must
- Advanced Application Architecture experience
- Experience automating financial processes from a Solutions Architect seat
- Experience optimizing ecommerce solutions - upgrading the organization to the current ecommerce tools
