Position Overview:
The Senior Financial Consultant provides expert financial guidance, strategic planning, and analytical support to clients or the organization. This role involves evaluating financial data, developing strategies to improve profitability, ensuring compliance with regulations, and advising on investment, risk management, and long-term financial planning. The Senior Financial Consultant serves as a trusted advisor to executives, stakeholders, and clients, helping them make informed financial decisions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with executives, stakeholders, or clients to provide financial analysis, forecasts, and strategic recommendations.

  • Conduct detailed financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis to support decision-making.

  • Evaluate investment opportunities, funding options, and capital structures to optimize returns.

  • Analyze risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting standards.

  • Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior management or clients.

  • Handle technical areas like foreign currency impacts, intercompany transactions, and consolidation adjustments.

  • Review and explain unusual items in the financial data.

  • Partner with global teams (Treasury, Tax, business leadership) to resolve issues and confirm accuracy.

  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and get business leaders' approval.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CPA, CFA, or similar designation preferred.

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in finance, consulting, or related roles.

  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.

  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, tax regulations, and compliance standards.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic, business-oriented mindset.

  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP, BI platforms).
