Location: 1 day per week on site, 4 days remote
Duration: Ongoing multi year contract
Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements from business stakeholders.
- Develop clear, structured documentation including Use Cases (diagram and narrative), Context Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), UML models, and Swim Lane diagrams.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA teams to ensure requirements are accurately understood and implemented.
- Conduct process reengineering to identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement.
- Analyze existing Medicare/Medicaid processes and recommend enhancements aligned with business and regulatory needs.
- Facilitate requirement walkthroughs and validation sessions with stakeholders.
- Support testing activities by reviewing test cases and validating that solutions meet documented requirements.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience within healthcare, Medicare, or Medicaid domains.
- Strong experience in functional requirements gathering, analysis, and structured documentation.
- Proven ability to create and interpret Use Case Diagrams and Narratives, Context Diagrams, DFDs, UML models, and Swim Lane Diagrams.
- Solid understanding of business process modeling and process reengineering methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or similar diagramming tools.
