Accounting Manager

Local to King of Prussia, PA.

An excellent client of ours is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and support their finance team. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all accounting functions while providing leadership and guidance to the accounting staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP

• Monitor and analyze accounting data to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Coordinate and support annual audits and tax filings

• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets

• Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills

• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
