MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of general accounting experience
- 5+ years of direct experience with a large ERP system (SAP, Oracle, JD Ewards, PeopleSoft)
SOFT SKILLS:
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage priorities and workflow proactively; demonstrated project management ability.
- Effective problem resolution combined with the ability to delegate effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
- Acute attention to detail.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Senior Accountant with a high level of expertise in tasks related to month-end close, general ledger account reconciliations, exposure to accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Working from one of our corporate offices located in the Philadelphia region, this individual must be highly organized with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Please note that this role is temporary with the possibility of transitioning to full-time.
- Manage financial records in ERP system (Deltek) and other internal databases with a high degree of accuracy, organization, and timeliness.
- Manage all monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing procedures, including intercompany account reconciliations, analysis of aged open balances, and other related workstreams.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activity, including new vendor onboarding and invoice approval processes.
- Manage general ledger reconciliations, including documentation, cash flow, revenue and expense variances.
- Provide support during audits and assessments.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal business partners.
- Other accounting tasks as assigned.
