Controller - Manufacturing Industry
Local to West Grove, PA
Our client, a growing manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Controller to lead all aspects of accounting and financial management. This individual will oversee the month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and cost accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The Controller will serve as a key business partner to operations and executive leadership, providing insights to improve financial performance and support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close
Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
Maintain and analyze standard costing, inventory, and production variances
Implement and monitor internal controls and process improvements
Supervise and develop accounting team members
Partner with operations to enhance efficiency and profitability
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with manufacturing industry background required
Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP systems
Proven leadership, analytical, and communication skills
