We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician for a 3-month contract in Martinsville, VA. This technician will support a Windows 11 laptop refresh project. The ideal candidate is highly self-sufficient, comfortable working independently, and experienced in managing priorities across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Image, configure, and deploy Windows 11 laptops.
• Provide onsite technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues during the rollout.
• Perform data migrations and ensure proper setup of user profiles, applications, and configurations.
• Handle Active Directory tasks, including user account management and device joins.
• Resolve wireless connectivity issues and verify network compatibility of new devices.
• Configure and support Android devices used in conjunction with Windows 11 laptops.
• Coordinate with end users and site contacts to schedule deployments and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate documentation of deployments, configurations, and inventory.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience, including Windows 10/11 imaging and deployment.
• Proven ability to work independently.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking.
• Familiarity with Active Directory administration and user management.
• Experience supporting Android mobile devices.
• Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
